Prayers for Godly Seeds
Didn’t the Lord make you one with your wife? In body and spirit, you are his. And what does he want? Godly children from your union. So, guard your heart and remain loyal to the wife of your youth.

God seeks Godly seeds.
When two people come together in a marriage, God seeks godly offspring/seeds from that union. His desire is that these godly seeds will grow up to infiltrate the world with the knowledge of God.
The Bible verse also shows us that marriage between a man and a woman is God’s idea. He wants us to honor the institution of marriage by remaining faithful to each other. When a husband and wife are committed to their roles and responsibilities to each other, they can then go on to raise children who will grow up to honor God.
Perhaps you are ignorant about God’s desire for godly seeds in the earth. Or maybe you have failed in your role as a parent to point your children to God. It is never too late to start from where you are. Become more intentional about teaching them God’s word and sowing seeds of faith into their hearts. You can begin afresh and start praying for godly children.
Psalm 127:3 -4 says, "Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth."
Children are described as arrows in the hands of a warrior. And the truth is that, we are war with the enemy who is working day and night to destroy the destinies of our children. We are the ones who will shoot these arrows along God’s path. We are the ones who must point and pray these arrows into their God given destiny. We are the ones who will fill the earth with the knowledge and glory of God as we raise children who will walk in God’s ways.
And it all begins in a place of prayer. Commit today to consistently pray for your children, that they will honor God and walk in his ways all the days of their lives. And just in case, you are yet to have a child, you can start early and start declaring that your seeds are godly and will leave a life that honors God.
Prayer Moment
Heavenly Father, thank you for opening my eyes to see your desire to fill the earth with godly seeds. I ask for grace, strength, and wisdom to nurture and raise my children according to your ways.
May I not be lukewarm about my child’s spiritual growth. Help me to stay committed to raising godly seeds that will fill this earth with the knowledge, light, and truth of God’s word. Amen!
