“Even my close friend in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, has lifted his heel against me. (Betraying me)” -Psalm 41:9

Heavenly Father, I thank you for your love for me and for showing me that is possible to heal from hurts and betrayals in my relationships.

I declare that today that I receive help from the Lord to trust in those who want only great things for me. As I move on with other friendships, I give the Holy Spirit room to direct me so that I will not ruin them with mistrust because of my past experiences.

I declare that I am released from the feeling of pain and judgment. I bask in the safety of your love; I experience the happiness and abundance I deserve, and I receive the peace that the Lord has for me.

I declare that today I receive the wonderful power of forgiveness and the grace to unconditionally forgive those who have done me wrong. I receive the strength to let go of all wrongs. I am freed of all anger, bitterness, hate, and unforgiveness.

I declare that today I am free of the burden of carrying a grudge and no longer waste my time and energy living in the past. By the grace of God, I can focus now on how best I can move forward into a better future.

I declare that I am surrounded by people and wise counsel who can support me and encourage me in this season.

I declare that I have restored confidence. I know my value and no longer feel insecure.

In Jesus' name, Amen.
