Welcome back, Kingdom Moms! So far, we’ve talked about the journey of balancing career, motherhood, and faith, and we’ve learned the importance of priorities and support. Now, it’s time to tackle what might be the trickiest part of all: managing time. How can we make the most of every moment without feeling stretched thin? Let’s dive in!
Embrace the Power of Small Wins
First off, let’s redefine what productivity looks like. For moms, sometimes productivity means getting that one work task done or just making it through dinner without a meltdown. Give yourself credit for small wins, and don’t let “all-or-nothing” thinking steal your joy.
Philippians 4:13 tells us, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Notice it doesn’t say “all things at once.” You’re already achieving so much with each small step—celebrate that!

Prioritize Your Mornings Like a CEO
Mornings can set the tone for your entire day, so let’s start strong! Try carving out 10-15 minutes to pray, read Scripture, or simply breathe before the busyness hits. Just that small window can be a game-changer for your mindset.
Proverbs 31:15 tells us about the virtuous woman who “rises while it is still night.” Now, I’m not saying we all have to wake up at the crack of dawn! But making time early in the day for God can set you on the right track. A peaceful morning is often a sign of a grounded day.

Batch Similar Tasks Together
One of the best time hacks is task batching—grouping similar tasks and tackling them in one go. It’s like meal prepping but for life! Whether it’s answering emails, folding laundry, or prepping meals, try dedicating blocks of time to specific activities. This method helps minimize distractions and lets you stay in a focused “zone.”
Colossians 3:23 reminds us, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” By batching tasks, you can give each area of your life more focused attention, making your time feel more purposeful and less scattered

Be Present in the Moment
Multi-tasking sounds like a superpower, but sometimes it can make us feel split in a thousand directions. Embrace the power of single-tasking! When you’re with your kids, focus on them. When you’re at work, give it your all. Being fully present wherever you are creates more peace and less overwhelm.
Jesus was the ultimate model of being present; He focused on each person He encountered. When we adopt this mindset, we’re giving our best in every area. Proverbs 4:25 encourages us, “Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you.” So, let’s look forward and focus on each moment as it comes.

Simplify Your To-Do List
Sometimes, the best way to accomplish more is to do less. Look at your to-do list and ask yourself if everything on it is necessary. Think about what you can delegate, defer, or even delete. Simplifying isn’t about doing less—it’s about making room for what matters most.
In Luke 10:41-42, Jesus tells Martha, “You are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed.” Take this wisdom to heart. By focusing on the essentials, you’ll find more joy and less stress in your day.

Create Mini-Breaks for Refueling
Throughout your day, take small breaks to refuel. Pause for a quick prayer, a breath of fresh air, or a couple of minutes to stretch. These moments might seem tiny, but they can help recharge you and give you the patience and energy to continue.
Isaiah 40:31 reminds us, “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.” Find moments to renew and recharge, trusting that God is in control and is your ultimate source of strength.

Protect Your Sabbath Rest
Finally, let’s talk about rest. A weekly Sabbath isn’t just a break; it’s a divine invitation to recharge, reconnect, and rest in God’s presence. Make it a family affair—whether it’s Sunday after church or another day that works for you, set aside time to disconnect from work and reconnect with God, your family, and yourself.
Hebrews 4:9-10 says, “There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his.” When you protect this sacred time, you’re giving yourself the grace to rest, refuel, and reset for the week ahead.

In Summary: Time Management Isn’t About More Time; It’s About More Purpose
God didn’t create us to be slaves to time. He designed us to live in purpose and peace. By simplifying, prioritizing, and resting in His strength, you can create a life where work, family, and faith thrive together.
