Discernment of Purpose by Blessing Onwuamah

‘If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him. -James 1:5 (AMP)
Lord, Show me my Purpose!

There are so many distractions in our world today, such that, we can find some things that are almost-like, like, but not exactly what God is telling us. That’s why we need divine direction and superior discernment.

So today we will take some time to pray and speak to the Revealer of secrets to uncover what he sent us here to do.

Let’s pray!
Father, I thank you because you have good plans for me.

Thank you, God, that you delight in showing us what is to come.
Lord, I ask that you show me and reveal yourself to me.

Let my understanding be enlightened on who you have called me to be.
In this season, I ask for clarity so that I will not walk blindly in my world nor make frivolous plans in Jesus’ name.

Holy Spirit, take away every veil from my eyes. Give me a blueprint of my future so I can apply my heart to wisdom.

Lord, as you show me, may I not ignore nor disregard that purpose.
I receive grace to embrace and fulfill my purpose in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer Moment

• Have you sensed what God has called you to do before now? Ask Him to unfold the next level.

• Lord, a hearing ear and a seeing-eye are from you, Lord, I receive both concerning my purpose in life in Jesus’ name.

• Lord, keep me rooted and grounded in you so that I would not lose my focus as you lead me in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Think Over it.
What is God saying to me today?
