“He giveth power to the faint, and they that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary, and they shall walk, and not faint.” – Isaiah 40:29-31
The Lord is always walking beside you. He is going through every situation with you. He loves and cares for you and will always stand by your side. Walking with Him will give you the comfort of knowing that He is always there for you. He is always with you when you need someone to lean on and a shoulder to cry on; He is always there with open arms.
When we are not walking with God, we are going to struggle even more because we are completely on our own. We have to figure things out for ourselves, and it will be much more difficult than it should be. God is the light on our path. He will show us the way, but without him, we have to find our way through the darkness. Why struggle when you can have God to guide you?
Right now, you could be despondent, feeling sad or dejected, either for reasons of a failed enterprise, career, or ministry, being scared to venture into something else, or picking up from where you failed. Isaiah 40 says, “He energizes those who get tired and gives strength to dropouts…”
Reach out to God for strength, He's your ever-present help (Psalms 46:1).
Think about the eagle that with little effort soars up high into the sky and then for hours on end, that eagle can glide far above the earth. What a beautiful picture! The eagle is a symbol of strength and power. That’s the picture of God’s people who are strengthened by the Lord. What a beautiful picture for the child of God - strength renewed like the eagles. Life as a woman can be overwhelming, but put your mind at rest, God’s got you.
Prayer Moment
• Father, help me to experience your blessing, joy, peace, strength, fulfillment, and growth even amid trials
• Give me the grace to keep my eyes trained on you, focused on you without wavering.
• Thank You for your precious promises to me. I embrace your strength and I receive the power to thrive and flourish. Amen
